A think tank
created by students
Since our inception in 2011, Warwick Think Tank has grown to become one of the largest student-led think tanks in Europe – we serve as a dynamic and politically neutral space, bringing together a community of passionate and diverse students to engage in the world of policy.
Eight policy sectors
Justice & Rights
Arts & Culture
Warwick Think Tank has eight major areas of focus. We explore these eight individual policy sectors through student articles on Warwick Think Tank Blog, in termly policy reports and our weekly policy events - where we host guest speakers, businesses and more important players in the world of policy.
Eleven years and we are just getting started.
Founded in 2011 we were the first think tank created and run by students interested in unleashing policy and all it has to offer students. Since our founding we have built a community that is committed to understanding the challenges we face and how policy can fix but also exacerbate these issues.

Events. Research. More
Warwick Think Tank has something for everyone. If you already love policy, or want to learn about policy for the first time - our society has something for you. Join us at an event or social.
The regular contributors team allows students to write weekly articles for our Tuesday and Thursday blogs, plus our blog isn't limited to regular contributors, anyone can pitch a blog to the Lead editor for approval. In addition to the blog Warwick Think Tank produces dedicated termly reports focusing on each sector, bring together the research in one document published by Warwick think tank.
We hold weekly events that discuss, debate and uncover areas of policy that may not cross your mind. Whether it's a guest speaker from a presidential administration talking about whether we can achieve social justice in the 21st century, or a head of a business at the fore of ESG our events will showcase a world of policy.
Join us on campus and explore policy.
Hear amazing speakers live. Politicians (Candidates for US Senate, Presidential Advisors, Shadow Cabinet Members), business leaders at consultancy firms, leaders in ESG's and so many more live from campus.
Our research team, built from a diverse set of students with backgrounds across different degrees, enables us to produce our termly policy reports. Our reports all covering unique issues allow us to develop critical policy opinions that may shape the future.
So far we have produced 16 policy research reports - with 14 being published in the 21-22 year - and the catalogue grows each year.
Join us at our end of term 'policy unleashed' events where we reveal the research teams incredible work and take you behind the covers of each report to reveal its findings.
