A think tank
created by students,
for students.
Since our inception in 2011, Warwick Think Tank has grown to become one of the largest student-led think tanks in Europe – we serve as a dynamic and politically neutral space, bringing together a community of passionate and diverse students to engage in the world of policy.
If you’re passionate about policy and want to explore how research and evidence can help address the complex challenges facing society today, there are plenty of ways to get involved with Warwick Think Tank. Find out more about getting involved on work that could shape how we understand and respond to the issues that matter most.
Alternatively, you could drop into one of our policy events, where we host a range of experts, from politicians, to business leaders. The many different events we have allow you to sit back and listen, or get involved in student-led debates and policy-making programmes.
Eight policy areas
to explore
Warwick Think Tank has something for everyone. If you are already invested in the world of policy, or want to explore it for the first time, our society has something for you.
Foreign Affairs
AI & Technology
Environment & Energy
Healthcare
Economy & Finance
Justice & Rights
Education & Society
Warwick Think Tank has eight major areas of focus. We explore these individual policy sectors through extensive research reports and hosted events, where we invite guest speakers, businesses, and the most important players in the world of policy.
Research Reports

Our reach does not stop here - our work has also been shared with policymakers, parliamentary groups, and organisations beyond the university, allowing research to contribute to real-world policy discussions and impact.
Our research team, with students from a diverse range of academic backgrounds, produce rigorous and distinctive research across our eight policy areas. Students investigate pressing issues, develop evidence-based recommendations, and present their findings at our report launches.

Policy-Focused Events
We hold frequent events that discuss, debate and uncover areas of policy that may not cross your mind. Whether it's a guest speaker from a presidential administration talking about achieving social justice in the 21st century, or a head of a business at the fore of ESG, our on-site events will showcase a world of policy.
